What makes these things attractive to kids?

Hello everybody and welcome to this Blog.

It was at about this time six months ago that I decided to make a Blog on the world renowned blogging service called ‘Blogger’.  I enjoyed doing it, but I only made it last a couple of weeks.  This wasn’t because I was lazy and never updated it like most, it was because I didn’t think anyone gave a shit.  Now, a six months later I don’t give a shit if anyone else gives a shit, so let’s all unite and have one great big shit.  Grand.

The reason I remember doing this Blog in April and May was because I had just entered the wonderful world of Thornbury FM.  Those of you living in Thornbury (all six of you) will of heard of Thornbury FM, but for you others it is a local radio station.  It isn’t a Community station apparently, but it is still ‘radio for the whole community’.  Some pompous twats say it should be 80% community and 20% radio, but that’s rubbish.  For the simple fact that it’s a Radio Station.  Anyway.

I don’t think Thornbury FM likes me, I’ve got a certain style,  I think it works quite well but I’ve got to ‘tighten up’.  Maybe they don’t like originality.  Oh dear, I can feel my ego swelling up inside my stomach, someone slap me please.  I’m not great at taking criticism on things like this, especially when I’m right, which is almost always naturally.  Tell you what, be a love and listen to my show 7-8pm on Saturdays in November (starting the 8th – thornburyfm.org).  And if you really want to make me happy tell Thornbury FM you like me, that’ll shut em’ right up.  If you haven’t heard the show before, or you heard it and hated it, lie.  Ta.

My dear father spoke to us at the dinner table today about some Elizabeth queen who did something…okay, I wasn’t listening.  To my shame I have no intrest in history.  I don’t know what it is really, I know I should have some intrest in it but whenever someone talks about it in pritty much any form I glaze off.  The tudors happend a long time ago and I’m sure they all had a nice time.  That’s all you need to know isn’t it?  If you are doing any sort of qualification in History I’ll give you some info on whoever you’re studying at the moment: they’re dead now, don’t worry about it.
